Bemy Bakery’s founder Yeliz, after studying economics at university, chose to follow her passion for cooking. This journey, which began in 2002, took her to Le Cordon Bleu, one of the world’s most prestigious pastry schools. There, she received pastry training and later attended various courses and masterclasses on sourdough bread. By working in restaurant kitchens, she gained in-depth knowledge of the culinary world.
During the pandemic, she started selling the sourdough breads she baked at home to her neighbors. This simple and heartfelt beginning turned into the inspiring story of Bemy Bakery.
Bemy’s Unique Take
Bemy Bakery reinterprets the classic French patisserie concept with its own distinctive touch. The croissant, one of the brand’s signature flavors, is one of the best examples of this approach.
Dough prepared with traditional techniques, Bemy’s own recipes, and carefully selected ingredients take on a whole new dimension. Each product, each plate, is brought to life with patience, passion, and love.
